Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking ski team coaches to develop young skiers aged 4-9 within Alpine Rangers, Mountain Rangers, Shooting Stars or Mighty Mites. You will implement curriculum and create a fun, safe team environment.

Openings for coaches of all levels; must be 18+, base hourly pay range $18.00-$25.92 per hour. Benefits include healthcare, lift privileges, discounts, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth in a coaching or mentorship setting.
• Excellent skiing ability and extensive skiing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with athletes, families and staff.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow curriculum guidance.

Responsibilities

• Teach and implement the ski team curriculum with youth athletes.
• Create a fun, safe, inclusive training environment for 4–9 year olds.
• Set up training areas, equipment, and safety protocols as directed by head coaches.
• Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, and staff; contribute to team goals.
• Attend required trainings and meetings and support teammate development.
