Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking a Ski Team Coach for foundational programs to work with young athletes aged 4-9 across Alpine Rangers, Mountain Rangers, Shooting Stars, or Mighty Mites. The coach will implement curriculum and foster a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate team environment.

Applicants must be at least 18, have extensive skiing experience, and strong communication skills. The role offers base hourly pay ranging from $18.00 to $25.92 per hour plus benefits and incentives, with

Responsibilities

• Know and adhere to schedule, time and attendance expectations.
• Foster a fun, safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate team environment for all athletes.
• Set up quality training environments: transport and install necessary equipment for training, safety and security including closures, signage, training poles/panels, drills and other.
• Implement team training as directed by the Head Coach and Manager; accountable for the quality of curriculum and athlete experience delivered.
• Execute against the long-term athlete development plan, supporting athlete skill development, engagement, and retention.
• Demonstrate adaptability in changing training environments and interpersonal situations.
• Communicate professionally with athletes, parents, guests, and fellow employees.
• Collaborate effectively with coaches, staff, and other departments.
• Attend trainings and meetings.
