Job summary

Pal isades Tahoe Team seeks Freeride Coaches for ages 9-20, seasonal/part-time or full-time. Coaches implement a developed curriculum, ensure safe, engaging sessions and drive athlete development in a dynamic winter environment.

Base pay range is $17.00–$35.55 per hour, with benefits like healthcare, lift privileges, gear discounts and a 401(k) match. Position includes outdoor winter exposure and performance-driven expectations.

Qualifications

• Current membership with US Ski & Snowboard and preference for coaching credentials.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and safety-focused approach.
• Ability to work in cold outdoor winter conditions and ski environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up training environments and equipment for sessions.
• Implement curriculum and ensure high-quality coaching delivery.
• Foster athlete development and maintain program standards.
• Communicate with team members, guests and parents effectively.
