Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: 2-year associate degree or two years of college coursework.
First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention certifications required.
One year of related experience required; two+ years preferred.
Fluency in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines applicable to this position.
Monitor staff-to-child ratio and maintain safety.
Develop and maintain relationships with personnel across shifts.
Plan, organize and supervise activities for children.
Provide crisis intervention when needed to maintain a safe environment.
Schedule and coordinate transportation for children as required.
Document incidents and daily progress in accordance with policies.
Escort children to and from designated locations and ensure safety during activities.
