Job summary

State of Missouri, Division of Youth Services, seeks a Youth Services Supervisor to lead treatment teams in day treatment and residential programs. You will supervise staff, implement treatment plans, and ensure safety and compliance in a youth-care setting.

Strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills are essential. The role requires experience in juvenile treatment or related fields, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth treatment or residential program settings preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate treatment teams and youth services staff.
• Direct and participate in weekly youth group meetings and team meetings.
• Oversee safety, security, and emergency response for youth in care.
• Coordinate with court and community staff on youth progress and plans.
• Provide awareness supervision to ensure youth safety and well-being.
• Perform general supervisory duties and ensure program adherence to policies.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Bachelor's degree with 15 credits in Counseling/Criminal Justice/Education/Psychology/Sociology/Social Work

Bachelor's degree + 1-3 years youth treatment experience
