Job summary

State-of-Missour is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care for youth in day treatment and residential programs. Responsibilities include physical exams, health assessments, care planning, and health education for youth and staff.

The position requires an active Missouri RN license with 0–3 years of nursing experience, strong communication, empathy, and teamwork. Competitive benefits are offered, and eligibility for retirement plans is included.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide thorough nursing assessments and care plans.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and maintain accurate medical records.
• Must hold current Missouri RN license and comply with licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical examinations and nursing assessments; schedule sick calls and lab work.
• Maintain youth health care needs awareness and coordinate services.
• Oversee medical/logs and ensure compliance with health policies.
• Teach health information and monitor implementation across programs.
• Conduct CPR and First Aid and maintain relevant Instructor certifications.
• Dispense medications to youth and transport youth as needed.
• Oversee and guide LPNs and nurse assistants on shift.
