Job summary

Distinction LLC's School Health program at the Job Corps Center in St. Louis seeks an experienced School Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct healthcare services to students, promote healthy lifestyles, and support career readiness in a mission-driven environment.

The role requires an unrestricted RN license in the state, at least one year of nursing experience, a valid driver's license, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• At least one year of nursing experience (two or more years preferred).
• Current, valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
• A compassionate professional who mentors, educates, and makes a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to students in a campus setting.
• Administer medications, monitor health, and assess medical needs.
• Treat minor illnesses and injuries, provide wound care, and assist with physical examinations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation.
• Help ensure the Health & Wellness Center is organized, stocked, and ready to provide care.
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team to support student success and well-being.
• Educate and encourage healthy lifestyles while serving as a positive role model.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive environment where every student feels valued.
