Job summary

Asian Youth Center (AYC) in California seeks a Program Manager to oversee one or more youth-focused programs. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure funding compliance, and prepare reports.

The role supports the Program Director and Executive Director in department-wide initiatives. Responsibilities include program delivery, data collection, quality assurance, and collaboration with community partners to provide resources and services to clients.

Qualifications

• Lived experience in juvenile or adult justice system.
• At least 5 years of related work with re-entry populations.
• Ability to motivate, lead, and team build with staff.
• Experience working with diverse communities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; computer literate.
• Live Scan, CPR/AED & First Aid Certification; valid CA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client services when needed.
• Hire, train, supervise, support, coach and evaluate direct service staff.
• Ensure client service documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Monitor progress toward program goals and outcomes.
• Develop QA/QC plans and data collection, evaluation, learning activities.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for efficient operations.
• Liaise with funding sources and ensure timely reports and invoices.
• Build relationships with community partners and sub-contractors.
• Assist in budget development with the program director and fiscal dept.
• Coordinate public relations, networking, fundraising and outreach.
• Represent AYC at community meetings as assigned.
• Attend trainings and meetings as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
