Job summary

Centers for New Horizons in Chicago seeks a Program Manager, Youth Services to lead youth-focused programs, ensure compliance with grant requirements, and supervise staff. The role drives positive youth development, academic success, and workforce readiness while building partnerships across the community.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership and program management skills, experience with grant-funded initiatives, and a commitment to improving opportunities for youth on Chicago's South Side.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Social Work, Human Services, Education, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Psychology, or related field.
• Two to five years of experience in program management, youth development, case management, community engagement, or related field.
• Experience managing grant-funded programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Experience supervising staff and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of youth development principles and community-based programming.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and day-to-day operations of multiple youth development programs.
• Design, coordinate, and execute youth-centered initiatives aligned with Centers for New Horizons' mission and priorities.
• Ensure all programs meet contractual obligations, grant requirements, performance goals, and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate program records, reporting systems, and oversight controls.
• Manage assigned program budgets and resources to maximize impact and efficiency.
• Monitor program performance and implement improvements.
