Job summary

United Planning Organization (UPO) is seeking a Deputy Director to oversee the POWer program, develop procedures, and drive strategic plans for youth and families.

You will coordinate with staff, external partners, and funders to meet contractual goals, ensure safety and quality, and manage data reporting. This role requires strong leadership and program management experience in youth development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in youth development or related field; 5+ years managing out-of-school time programs with youth.
• Valid D Class driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work with diverse educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the P.O.W.E.R. program operations and staff.
• Develop operating procedures and strategic action plans to meet goals.
• Create marketing, recruitment, enrollment, and retention strategies.
• Evaluate program data and report to the Program Manager with recommendations.
• Ensure grant compliance and adherence to policy in daily programming.
• Coordinate with partners, funders, and division leadership.
