Job summary

Hudson Public Library is seeking a dedicated Youth Services Librarian to oversee all youth programs and services for Birth through high school, engaging a diverse Hudson community of ~20,000 residents.

Responsibilities include program development, staff supervision, outreach, and partnership building. MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program and 3+ years of youth services experience are required; Portuguese/Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited program with 3+ years of progressive library experience.
• Experience working with youths, caregivers, and educators.
• Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead Youth Services Department operations and staff.
• Plan and coordinate programs (storytimes, teen activities, events).
• Manage outreach, publicity, and partnerships for youth services.
