Job summary

World Relief is seeking a part-time Student Youth Fellow (12–20 hours/week) to support refugee and immigrant students in the Triangle area. This one-year fellowship provides mentorship, hands-on experience, and opportunities to develop skills while working with the Refugee and Immigrant Youth Services Team.

Responsibilities include tutoring, assisting families with school processes, and participating in mentorship and school programming.

Qualifications

• Strong English skills with clear written and verbal communication.
• Fluency in one additional language commonly served by World Relief.
• Commitment to Christian faith and World Relief's mission.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RIYS team to develop youth services for refugee and immigrant students.
• Assist families with school registration, ESL testing setup, and enrollment meetings.
• Support after-school tutoring, large group mentorship, and in-school programming.
• Maintain program data in case management databases and assist with notes.
• Help plan school-community events and summer enrichment activities.
