Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts invites applications for the Facility Administrator, Metro Youth Service Center. The role reports to the Director of Residential Services and oversees all hardware and staff-secure programs across a DYS Campus.

The incumbent will manage facility operations, maintenance, food service, security, and programming, supervise all Program Directors, and coordinate contracted programs while ensuring safety, compliance and high-quality youth services.

Qualifications

• Five years of supervisory experience in a residential or secure setting serving juvenile offenders.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Criminal Justice System preferably the juvenile justice system.
• Experience with state contracting, procurement and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Facility.
• Ensure safety and security services as well as facility maintenance.
• Manage and oversee construction or renovation projects.
• Provide after-hours on-call coverage when necessary.
• Serve on Regional procurement team.
• Track and manage all Facility overtime.
• Participate in Performance –Based Standards Initiative.
• Ensure treatment services for clients reflect best practices.
• Participate in staff hiring, training, evaluation, record retention, emergency preparedness and scheduling.
