Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group in New Jersey is seeking a Licensed Clinician for the NJ4S Compass - Monmouth program. The role will provide screening, brief interventions, and referrals to students within Monmouth County, with a focus on trauma-informed care and school collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold MSW/MA/MS/PhD and LCSW or LPC licensure, plus at least three years of therapy experience with children. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: MSW, MA, MS, or PhD.
• Licensure: LCSW or LPC.
• Three years of relevant experience providing therapy to children.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid NJ driver’s license and fingerprinting per DCF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening and brief interventions to students identified in schools.
• Coordinate treatment referrals and school consultations.
• Perform clinical assessment and ongoing intervention planning with linkages to outside services.
• Consult with school staff and parents on topics like suicide and eating disorders.
• Complete paperwork and data entry within required timelines.
• Assist with prevention programming as needed.
