Job summary

CHILDRENS CRISIS TREATMENT CENTER INC seeks a SBS Clinician to perform intake assessments and deliver individual and family psychotherapy to children in crisis, with services in a school-based setting.

Responsibilities include clinical case management, care coordination, and discharge planning with families. The role requires licensure in NJ or active pursuit and at least one year of pediatric mental health experience within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology or Master’s degree in social work/psychology and NJ licensure or progress toward licensure.
• Minimum of one year of experience providing mental health services to children and families.
• Ability to provide clinic-based and community-based interventions and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake assessments and implement recommendations and referrals.
• Provide individual and family therapy and clinical case management.
• Coordinate care and refer to other services and supports as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, treatment plans, and required signatures and due dates.
• Develop discharge plans with parents/caregivers and assist with implementation.
• Provide community-based interventions and school collaboration.
• Deliver crisis intervention services after traumatic events in schools or communities.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and mandatory trainings.
• Support the Division Director and executive leadership as assigned.
