Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Clinician for a contract assignment in Newark, NJ. The clinician will deliver comprehensive behavioral health services to students, including intake assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis response, and evaluations to assess mental health risks.

Requirements include a Master’s in a mental health field and an independent NJ license (LPC/LCSW/LMFT/LCADC or Psychologist). Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8am–4:30pm, 3-month duration with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health discipline plus two years post Master’s experience.
• Independent license to practice in NJ (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCADC or Psychologist).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and assess counseling and treatment needs; conduct crisis assessments and interventions.
• Provide hands-on case management for referrals on and off campus; monitor students of concern.
• Develop databases of mental health resources across levels of care (outpatient to inpatient).
• Complete intake assessments, treatment plan reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Engage with campus communities through outreach, consultation and education.
