Job summary

Police Athletic League Inc seeks a Youthlink Activity Specialist- Service Learning to design and facilitate service-learning projects connecting high school youth with their communities. You will build partnerships with organizations, coordinate volunteer opportunities, and guide youth through reflection to develop leadership and civic responsibility.

You will work under the Teen Supervisor at the New South Bronx Center, with orientation and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Social Work, or related field.
• Minimum two years working with high school-age youth in development or service-learning.
• Experience planning volunteer projects or civic engagement activities with youth.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate service-learning projects and civic activities.
• Develop partnerships with nonprofits, schools, and community groups.
• Coordinate volunteer opportunities and youth engagement activities.
• Facilitate reflection activities before, during, and after service experiences.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety and program alignment.
