Job summary

U.S. Soccer Federation is seeking a Safeguarding Manager, Youth Engagement to serve as the subject-matter expert on safeguarding for youth participants.

The role leads prevention and education across the youth game and builds frameworks, tools, and learning for staff, Members, and partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Child Protection, Social Work, Education, Public Health, Sport Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in safeguarding, child protection, or minor welfare, including designing and implementing prevention measures and delivering policy and education programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Subject-Matter Expert on youth safeguarding spanning regulation, best practice, and evidence base for U.S. Soccer.
• Translate regulatory change and evidence into internal guidance and tools for staff, Members, and partners.
• Build learning assets and support safeguarding capacity across Member Organizations and programs.
• Collaborate with Reporting and Resolution and other teams to ensure safe environments for minors.
