Job summary

The Skateside in Los Angeles area is seeking friendly Youth Roller Skating Coaches to teach kids to skate, build confidence, and have fun. No advanced skating required; we train you on our methods and lesson structure.

Most programs run Monday–Friday afternoons (1:00–5:00 PM) with optional weekend programs and camps. Locations include Culver City and Santa Monica; reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• Have basic roller skating skills.
• Enjoy working with kids.
• Be positive, patient and encouraging.
• Be dependable and show up on time.
• Feel comfortable leading a group.

Responsibilities

• Coach kids in skating and help them learn with patience.
• Lead group sessions and manage activities.
• Communicate with parents and staff about progress and schedules.
• Maintain safety and model positive behaviour during lessons.
