Job summary

THE SKATESIDE in Culver City and Santa Monica is seeking fun, dependable Youth Skateboarding Coaches for a part-time role. You’ll help kids learn to skate, build confidence, and have a positive experience after school hours.

Most shifts run Monday through Friday, roughly 1:00–5:00 PM, with weekend programs and camps possible. You don’t need to be an advanced skater; training is provided and childcare/child-development credentials qualify for extra pay.

Qualifications

• Have basic skateboarding skills.
• Enjoy working with kids.
• Be positive, patient and encouraging.
• Be dependable and punctual.
• Feel comfortable leading a group.
• Communicate well with parents and staff.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Seek a fun, active part-time job.

Responsibilities

• Teach kids to skate and build confidence through engaging instruction.
• Lead sessions using our teaching methods and lesson structure.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive coaching environment.
