Job summary

Community Residences, Inc. is seeking a part-time Residential Instructor in Windsor, CT. The role involves supporting clients in daily living, implementing treatment plans, and maintaining a safe, uplifting home environment.

Candidates must have a CT driver’s license, relevant experience in Human Services, and training in PMT, First Aid/CPR and Medication Certification. Strong communication and professional boundaries are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CT driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Associate’s Degree preferred with at least one year experience in the Human Services field.
• TRAINING: PMT; First Aid, CPR and Medication Certification. CPR/FA within 45 days; Medication Administration Certification within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Lift and transfer clients safely (70-75 lbs); assist with activities in and outside the home.
• Create a positive learning environment; help clients cope with daily living, stress, and emotions.
• Implement treatment plans; monitor client progress and document changes.
• Follow behavioral and dietary plans; assist with meals and household duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with clients and staff.
