Community-Residences in Bristol, CT seeks a Residential Instructor to support clients in daily living, crisis management, and community activities. This full-time role requires lifting, supervision, and adherence to treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.

You will monitor clients, document progress, and participate in required trainings including PMT, First Aid, CPR, and medication certification. A valid CT driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Competenze

• Associate’s Degree preferred with at least one year experience in the Human Services field.
• Training requirements include Physical Management Training (PMT); First Aid, CPR and Medication Certification.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid within 45 days of hire and Medication Administration Certification within 4 months.

Mansioni

• Must be able to perform all job functions required. Lift and transfer 70-75lbs. Active work inside and outside the home.
• Create a positive learning environment and help clients cope with daily living.
• Implement treatment plans and document client progress and barriers.
