You will perform crisis handling, document actions, and possibly administer medications, transport youths, and participate in intake/discharge processes. A high school diploma and valid Texas driver’s license are required.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must obtain First Aid/CPR Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must be certified as required by applicable standards.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must pass an extensive background investigation.

• Supervise youths to ensure health, safety and welfare.
• Provide individual and group counseling to youths.
• Make sound judgments during crises and inform supervisor.
• Discipline youths and document behavior.
• Back-up duties: administer medications, transport youths, process intakes/discharges.
• Conduct inspections, rounds and drills; room checks and searches.
• Transport youths to appointments and coordinate daily programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
