Job summary

1st shift 6:45am-3:15pm supports daily living, supervision, and coordination with the program team to meet individual goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or associate degree required.
• Prefer four-year degree in Human Services or related field.
• Valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record and eligibility to drive agency vehicles.
• Candidate must pass drug screening and extensive background check.
• Experience with children ages 12-17 facing emotional difficulties preferred (population-specific).

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic treatment to clients in a residential setting.
• Plans and supervises daily activities to build self-esteem and peer interaction.
• Document significant events and behavior in process notes each shift.
• Supervise clients and maintain a safe, positive home-like environment.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate visits/contacts under supervision.
• Ensure crisis prevention and safety procedures are followed.
• Transport clients as needed in agency vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the home and complete maintenance requests.
