Job summary

Southeastern Life Center is seeking a Lead Child Residential Care Specialist for 1st and 3rd shifts in Siler City, NC. You will oversee daily shift operations, coordinate care, staffing, and budgets, and work with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment goals for youth and families.

Responsibilities include leading staff, developing treatment plans, ensuring safety, and coordinating client visits and activities. A valid NC driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working with adolescents (12-17) with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate Degree in Human Services or a Four-year degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Must have the ability to respond effectively within and cope with an environment that can be extremely stressful on the mind and body.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shift operations of the residential program and care.
• Coordinate care, staffing patterns, budgets, and treatment environment.
• Attend treatment team meetings and contribute to treatment plans.
• Develop group experiences and ensure safety and staff support.
• Transport clients in agency vehicles as needed.
• Support training and development of staff in program philosophy.
