Job summary

Youth Opportunity is seeking a Residential Shift Supervisor to oversee daily operations and staff on assigned shifts at Rockdale, TX. You will ensure the safe operation of the facility and provide leadership to staff working with youth in our care.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 3 years’ experience with youth in residential settings, with preferred Bachelor’s Degree and supervisory background. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with youth in residential setting.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to assess youth with substance abuse, mental health, and trauma history.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staff during shifts.
• Supervise staff, assign duties, evaluate performance, and provide training.
• Monitor facility security; ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
• Oversee youth behavior management and incident reviews.
• Supervise medication administration and documentation.
• Assist with youth transportation, intake and discharge procedures.
• Communicate with leadership regarding staffing, safety, and operations.
• Conduct security checks and manage emergency responses.
