Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field is preferred.
• One year of recreation experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record; CDL Class B with passenger endorsement within six months; Water Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with organizing and facilitating on- and off-Center recreational, leisure, and enrichment activities.
• Support implementation of programs including arts & crafts, intramurals, cultural events, games, and fitness activities.
• Encourage participation and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
• Prepare activity schedules, calendars, and materials for programs and events.
• Coordinate and supervise student field trips and off-Center activities as assigned.
• Monitor students to maintain a safe, structured environment; report safety concerns as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized recreation areas and equipment; track attendance and participation.
• Provide transportation for students to Center-sponsored activities as needed.
