Job summary

City of Owatonna seeks a part-time Coordinator for Youth Basketball to assist with supervision of seasonal staff and coordination of facility programs across multiple city sites. The role involves scheduling, marketing, rentals, and event coordination to deliver quality youth basketball experiences.

The position requires 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work with the public. CPR/First Aid certification preferred; variety of indoor/outdoor duties and evenings/weekends

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driverer license and be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work with the public and supervise staff.
• Experience operating general office equipment and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and supervision of seasonal/temporary staff.
• Coordinate facility programs and operations for customer service quality.
• Ensure accurate financial procedures and records and manage equipment/inventory.
• Develop, market and coordinate recreation programs, events and rentals.
• Schedule staff and provide backup support as needed.
• Promote facilities and programs and ensure safety and compliance.
