Job summary

Jonathan Club in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Youth Recreation Attendant to assist and implement children activities while ensuring safety and supervision during events for members’ families.

You will help run special member events for children and offer engaging alternative activities when needed, with a focus on safety and positive interaction. Weekend availability, reliability, and teamwork are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must work weekends.
• Minimum of one year experience working with children.
• Ability to maintain excellent relations with co-workers.
• Ability to stay focused despite frequent interruptions.
• Available to work weekends, holidays and other summer events.
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, lift, reach, pull and grasp.

The Youth Recreation Attendant is responsible for the following:

• Work special Member events that provide activities for children.


• Any time that children do not wish to participate in scheduled activities, encourage a different activity (game boards, volleyball, playground, etc.).

Requirements

1. Must work weekends. Any and all exceptions should be made by Office Manager.

2. A minimum of one year experience in working with children.

3. Ability to maintain excellent relations with co-workers.

4. Ability to focus and maintain attention to performance of tasks despite frequent stressful, emergency, critical or unusual interruptions.

5. Available to work weekends, holidays and other special events in the summer.

6. Ability to sit, walk, stand, lift, reach, pull, and grasp.

Pay Rate: $18.47/hour
