Job summary

Kids and Canines in Tampa seeks an experienced Program & Volunteer Manager to lead youth development and animal-assisted programs. This full-time leadership role oversees program delivery, volunteer engagement, stakeholder relationships, reporting, and the well-being and coordination of therapy dogs.

You will build partnerships with schools and families, maintain program metrics and budgets, and ensure safe, high-quality experiences for participants and canine teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in program management, youth development, nonprofit, education, or a related field.
• Experience leading volunteers and community partnerships.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with dogs or animal-assisted programming preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Lead youth and community programs aligned with the organization's mission.
• Coordinate therapy dog selection, scheduling, records, and care.
• Maintain program metrics, reporting, budgets and documentation.
• Engage volunteers and manage community partnerships.
