Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northern Indiana Corridor (BGCNIC) seeks a Team Lead to ensure high-quality programming at multiple Club sites. The role partners with the Site Coordinator/Club Director to design and implement daily schedules, lead staff, and ensure fidelity to BGCA requirements across grant-funded initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Recreation or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in youth development, education, childcare, recreation, after-school programming, or related environment preferred.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, team lead, or program coordination experience preferred.
• Demonstrated understanding of youth development principles and effective practices for engaging school-age youth.
• Experience planning, organizing, facilitating, and evaluating youth programs and activities.
• Ability to manage multiple groups, activities, staff assignments, and transitions within a fast-paced program environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, direct, and hold team members accountable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand and execute curriculum, program requirements, grant deliverables, and organizational expectations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, members, families, school partners, and community stakeholders.
• Proficiency with ProCare and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Coordinator/Club Director in designing, organizing, and communicating daily programming schedules.
• Translate program priorities into strong daily execution and ensure staff follow schedules.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to Youth Development Professionals (YDPs).
• Support onboarding and training of new staff on site procedures and safety practices.
• Maintain a visible leadership presence and ensure smooth transitions between activities.
• Collaborate across programming, operations, and grants teams to meet BGCA requirements.
• Support administrative duties such as attendance and documentation.
