Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Security/Compliance role within our Job Corps program in Dayton, OH. The incumbent enforces policies, conducts patrols, documents results, and assists staff to maintain a safe environment for students and visitors.

Responsibilities include incident investigations, logging activities, providing transportation support, and upholding safety practices. A valid driver’s license and 1 year of related experience are required; GED or HS diploma is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all laws, rules and policies of the Safety and Security Department.
• Perform alarm and patrol duties to protect life and property.
• Conduct inspections and document results.
• Investigate incidents and provide clear reports.
• Control disturbances and assist staff in de-escalation.
• Provide vehicle transportation support and perform vehicle inspections.
• Provide visitor assistance and log entries.
• Maintain accurate logs of people and records.
• Ensure safety practices and maintain a respectful environment.
