Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a diligent Security Officer for our Dayton Job Corps site. You will perform site inspections, monitor access, log incidents, and assist in emergency response to keep youth and staff safe.

A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required; CPR/First Aid training and CDL endorsements are preferred. Join a mission-driven team focused on safety, accountability, and community impact.

Qualifications

• One-year security or law enforcement experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record
• CDL with Air Brake and Passenger endorsements preferred
• Two years CPR/First Aid related experience

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inspections and security checks of grounds and facility, documenting results
• Report fires and assist in fire suppression
• Investigate incidents and provide clear reports
• Provide First Aid/CPR as needed
• Control disturbances and assist staff in de-escalation
• Inspect General Services Administration fleet vehicles
• Complete security, vehicle and transportation logs accurately and on time
• Log and search employees, visitors, vendors and students at entry/exit
• Handle other duties as assigned
