Job summary

Medinah Country Club in Medinah, IL is seeking a Youth Activities Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pool and coordinate youth programming throughout the season. You will hire, train, schedule, and support the Youth Activities team, create age-appropriate activities, ensure safety, and collaborate with other departments to promote the calendar and events.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aquatics, recreation, youth programming, camps, childcare, hospitality, or a related environment.
• Hands-on leadership with team supervision and training experience.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pool operations and maintain a visible, approachable presence for members, families, and team members.
• Coordinate pool activities, games, programs, camps, and special events.
• Coordinate junior programming across the Club with other departments.
• Develop and participate in age-appropriate youth activities and programs.
• Ensure safety throughout youth activities and pool areas.
• Assist with registration, supplies, and budgeting for youth programming.
