Greater Somerset County YMCA in Somerset County, New Jersey, seeks a Youth Program Coordinator to support the successful delivery of department goals through scheduling, staff oversight, program development, and operational support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• One to two years related work experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee child care and youth programs, including daily operations and scheduling.
• Manage enrollment operations, registrations, attendance, and data.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance through evaluations and inspections.
• Lead program development, assess community needs, monitor participation and outcomes.
• Train and support staff and volunteers, fostering a high-performing team.
• Build relationships with staff, families, partners, and stakeholders, delivering customer service.
