Job summary

BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF NORTHEAST INDIANA in Fairfield Main Site, Fort Wayne, seeks a Program Manager to lead a core program pillar under the VP of Programming. You will deliver engaging youth experiences aligned with BGCA standards and influence outcomes in Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

You will supervise staff, plan curricula, monitor quality, and foster partnerships to enhance learning, growth, and opportunities for youth served by the six program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in planning and implementing youth programs.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive programming.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and behavior management strategies.
• Ability to motivate youth and build relationships.
• Ability to train and motivate staff.
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing organizational priorities and community needs.
• Maintain professional self-control and objective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement day-to-day program curriculum and activities with members.
• Encourage participation across program areas and provide feedback to develop skills.
• Monitor and evaluate program achievement against goals and adjust as needed.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to help educational, personal and life-skill needs.
• Provide structured activities for groups to foster positive youth development.
• Assist in planning program activities including education, arts, recreation, and life skills.
• Incorporate fun into all areas.
• Coach, train and manage volunteers and staff; provide ongoing feedback.
• Maintain contact with staff, members, and supervisors to share information and guidance.
• Ensure program evaluation and timely grant reporting; support advertising and promotion.
