Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana, Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator to deliver outcome-driven programs, events, and camps at the Valparaiso site. You will oversee program staff, drive membership goals, and ensure high-quality program delivery aligned with mission.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and two years’ youth program experience, with strong supervision, budgeting, and communication skills. On-site work and occasional weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years’ work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar youth organization.
• Demonstrated member and staff supervision skills.
• Demonstrated ability to market programs, activities and events using a variety of means.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Proven ability to organize, budget, plant and implement projects with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, implement and maintain the administration of a broad range of Club programs and activities.
• Create and sustain program procedures and guidelines with high quality standards.
• Oversee day-to-day programming to meet established criteria and goals.
• Provide guidance and discipline to members while encouraging participation in programs and activities.
• Ensure staff communicate program standards and keep areas safe and healthy for members.
• Ensure evaluations address outcomes and drive program effectiveness.
• Oversee incident/accident reporting and follow-up.
• Monitor expenditures within the approved budget.
