Job summary

BGCAZ in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Youth Development Specialist to plan, implement, coordinate and supervise engaging youth and teen programs. The role focuses on delivering quality activities across clubs, including arts and gym, while fostering positive developmental experiences.

You will manage calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, rosters and participation tracking, and you will transport youth using club vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must obtain/maintain CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler’s Certification (within first 90 days of employment)
• Must have and maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Facilitates programming in various areas of the Club (arts, gym, etc)
• Manages administrative duties to include: calendars, lesson plans, pre/post testing, roster keeping and participation tracking
• Transports youth and/or teens to various club locations via BGCMP vehicles
• Ensures the safety of all members and ensures proper documentation is completed
• Assists with Federal Food program as directed
