Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Youth Development Professional at Challengers Club to plan, organize, promote, implement and evaluate programs. You will lead activities in art, athletics and academics, supervise members, and promote engagement while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED (two years college preferred), experience with youth, strong communication, and a valid driver's license; CPR/First Aid

• Valid driver’s license and background check required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Prior Boys & Girls Club experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, monitors and evaluates programs to ensure safety and quality.
• Creates an environment supporting Youth Development Outcomes.
• Maintains attendance and participation records.
• Recommends new or enhanced programs and activities.
• Supervises volunteers and program assistants.
• Drives club vehicles and participates in collaborative community outreach when needed.
