Job summary

Girls Inc. is seeking a Program Coordinator to plan, deliver, and oversee Whole-Girl programs that foster social-emotional learning, resiliency, and leadership. You will work with schools to integrate activities, manage sessions, and track outcomes for 750–100 girls annually.

The role runs Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays/evenings, facilitating 50‑minute in‑school and 1–2 hour after‑school sessions, collaborating with STEM and college teams to broaden opportunities for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field; education preferred.
• Experience in youth programs, lesson planning, and facilitation.
• Strong emotional intelligence with a passion for diverse groups.
• Excellent written and oral communication with participants, families, and schools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Docs; Canva/Adobe tools helpful.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Texas driver’s license; ability to drive a van.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred to communicate with participants and partners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver agency‑approved programs (social‑emotional learning, media literacy, career planning).
• Collaborate with STEM, Workforce, and College teams to expand offerings.
• Develop lesson plans using organizational resources to ensure effectiveness.
• Serve as liaison between students, families and school staff; maintain communication.
• Support recruitment and retention by generating community interest and parent meetings.
