The Part-Time Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, facilitating, and administering Girls Inc. literacy programs focused on social-emotional learning, resiliency, growth mindset, confidence, wellness, leadership development, media literacy, STEM exposure, and college/career planning. This position will serve girls through a designated Fort Worth ISD (FWISD) campus, facilitating in-school program sessions and building positive relationships with students, school staff, and families. Each session will include approximately 15-20 girls and will focus on delivering engaging, evidence-based curriculum aligned with Girls Inc. programming goals. The Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Girls Inc. and the assigned school, integrating into the school culture and supporting positive youth development outcomes.
This is a part-time position serving Washington Heights Elementary School on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:40 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. during the school year.
This position requires the ability to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment, and the physical ability to perform light lifting. Work is typically performed in a classroom, school, office, or community setting and may involve standing, stooping, bending, and walking. However, the agency will make accommodations when necessary. This person may be required to travel to various locations throughout Tarrant County. Generally, the working conditions have little or no exposure to extremes in safety hazards or hazardous materials.
