Job summary

The Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos seeks a Youth Program Specialist to mentor and engage youth members, delivering high-quality programs that foster self-confidence and responsible citizenship across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Director of Program Services, you will float between branches, cover staffing gaps, plan monthly activities, ensure safety, and run programs independently while adapting to the needs of each site.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have valid identification.
• Advanced knowledge of basic youth development, the Boys & Girls Club movement, or similar concepts.
• Ability to organize, supervise, and discipline youth members safely.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and engage youth members in programs to build confidence and character.
• Plan and implement National Boys & Girls Club programs and local initiatives.
• Float between branches to cover staffing shortages and support sites.
• Run high-quality programming independently while adapting to site expectations.
