Job summary

The International Rescue Committee in Phoenix seeks a Youth Program Supervisor to lead IRC's youth initiatives, shape program design, supervise staff, build partnerships with schools and community groups, and ensure high-quality services and positive outcomes for vulnerable youth.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred), at least three years working with youth and two years in a supervisory role, strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration, trauma‑informed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, social work, human services, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum three years working with youth and two years supervisory experience.
• Experience with refugee/immigrant youth preferred.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills across cultures.
• Ability to travel regularly within the service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead department program planning in alignment with organizational mission and goals.
• Ensure high-quality services that empower youth and support their success in the community.
• Research, develop, and implement best practices for positive youth development and academic achievement.
• Establish and implement annual and long-term goals with department leadership.
• Oversee accurate financial, programmatic, and client record-keeping.
