Job summary

City of Temple, TX seeks a Senior Youth Leader to supervise youth programs and lead recreation activities for ages 5–13. You will open/close facilities, manage registrations and money, and perform daily office tasks.

Must develop lesson plans and communicate effectively with parents, participants, and staff. Flexibility is required, including weekends and holidays, with the possibility to assist in other divisions as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of high school or equivalent.
• Experience in childcare settings or programs.
• Ability to supervise children ages 5-13 in various settings.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead youth and recreation program activities for 5–13 year olds.
• Open/close facilities, manage money, and record registrations.
• Develop and implement lesson plans for recreation, education, and enrichment.
• Provide excellent service and communicate with parents, staff, and participants.
• Perform daily office tasks and assist in other divisions as needed.
