Job summary

Charlotte Country Club is seeking a Youth Activities Counselor to lead and supervise child-watch activities at The Treehouse. The role involves greeting families, planning age-appropriate activities, and ensuring a safe, friendly environment for children during shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting with meals, event setup, and supporting family events. Must have First Aid and CPR certifications, be able to work 10–15 hours weekly, and maintain excellent customer service with a positive

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent; current high school students may apply.
• First Aid certified and Infant/Child CPR certified.
• Six months experience working with groups of children aged 6 months to 12 years.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; positive customer service attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide child-watch services in The Treehouse and supervise play and activities.
• Greet children and parents by name; communicate needs and preferences.
• Plan age-appropriate activities; supervise events, setup and cleanup.
• Assist with diaper changes, bathroom monitoring, meals and snacks.
• Lead play, supervise games, and resolve disputes between children.
