Job summary

Farmington Country Club is seeking a Childcare Attendant to join our Youth Activities team in Charlottesville, VA. You will help operate the Kids Club, plan and lead engaging activities, and coordinate with parents to meet each child’s needs.

The role involves setting up the Kids Club, maintaining logs, preparing learning materials, and assisting with daily routines. CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtainable, with prior childcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in childcare or related field preferred.
• Ability to communicate with parents regarding children's needs.
• Infant/Child First Aid and CPR certifications preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and supervise developmentally appropriate programs (art, music, reading, games).
• Lead children in structured activities and daily routines.
• Set up Kids Club in a timely manner and maintain safety standards.
