Qualifications

• At least 1 year of childcare experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, energetic, patient and service oriented.
• Easily connects with children, parents and families.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Dependable with a team-first attitude.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification or ability to become certified.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children and help them feel comfortable, excited, and included.
• Provide attentive supervision while maintaining a safe and engaging environment.
• Lead games, arts & crafts, storytelling, and other activities.
• Assist with monthly themes and creative programming.
• Communicate with parents regarding their child’s needs and experience.
• Follow secure child check-in and check-out procedures.
• Help children navigate conflicts and communicate behavioral concerns.
• Provide snacks and meals while maintaining a clean environment.
• Keep the Child Activity Center clean and organized.
• Assist with reservations, ratios, member billing, and reporting.
