Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated professional to support the WIOA Youth program by assessing eligibility, enrolling eligible customers in career services, and coordinating with community partners to identify opportunities for youth. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or comparable years of related case management and job matching experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Sound knowledge of workforce programs (SNAP, TANF, WIOA, NCP, RESEA, TAA, SEAL).
• Demonstrate reliability and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with the communities being served and local needs/resources.
• Public speaking experience.
• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with enrollment in Career Office federally funded services.
• As part of a cross-functional team, demonstrates knowledge of services, labor market information, and multi-program services.
• Coordinates activities and conducts outreach with partners and employers.
• Interviews customers to assess training needs and determine eligibility for benefits.
• Accurately determines eligibility per local, state, and federal policies.
