Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle in Clayton, North Carolina, seeks a Youth Program Director to lead and grow quality youth programs while supervising part-time staff and volunteers. You will manage operations, budgets, and partnerships to strengthen community engagement and impact.

The role requires building strong relationships, coordinating schedules, ensuring safety, and navigating evenings, weekends, and events. A degree in a related field and staff development experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in related field preferred and 1+ year of related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse communities.
• Experience coordinating staff, programs, and schedules in a dynamic setting.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow YMCA youth programs, including before/after school and camps.
• Supervise and develop part-time staff and volunteers.
• Manage program operations, budgets, and data reporting.
• Foster community partnerships, outreach, and fundraising efforts.
• Maintain safety, quality, and high participant experience standards.
