Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle in Apex, NC, seeks a Healthy Living Program Director to lead wellness programs, supervise part-time staff and volunteers, and manage operating budgets. You will build community partnerships and support outreach, marketing, and fundraising to strengthen engagement and impact.

The role requires coordinating program operations, ensuring high-quality experiences for participants, and maintaining data to evaluate success. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certifications required: CPRO, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen.
• NCCA certified group fitness or personal training credential required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow wellness programs aligned with the YMCA mission.
• Supervise part-time staff and volunteers and manage budgets.
• Develop partnerships, outreach, and fundraising support.
• Maintain participant records and ensure program quality and safety.
• Support scheduling, events, and staff development.
